I have the following immediate requirement:

VBA programmer

6 + Months
NY
 In person interview will be necessary after phone interview.
 
The role is within the Fixed Income Structured Credit Derivative IT group working within the desk development team.

- The Desk Development team is responsible for providing risk, PnL, trade pricing tools and general reporting apps for use by the trading desk.
- The team work directly with the trading desk to understand their business requirements these are then used to develop tactical/medium term solutions. The teams that create the strategic applications then leverage the apps/knowledge of the desk team.
- The development can be somewhat RAD in nature and the developers must balance stability and quality with a demanding schedule of functional change to meet business needs.
- There is an emphasis for the desk developers to understand the functional capabilities of the Core IT systems and for the desk developed solutions to compliment these systems

-Skillset required: VBA, SQL, XML, OO Design mandatory
C# highly desirable
